Since the age of 10, I have never been too far away from a paintbrush.
My father trained as a professional coach painter before taking his skills in to painting & decorating.
I was enthralled by the intricate painting techniques and persuaded him to teach me how to do it.
My training as a painter & decorator began.
Subsequently I trained at London's trade specialist college where I obtained qualifications in painting & decorating.
I now run my own decorating business from Parkgate, Dumfries, where I live with my wife and family.
