At Tol & Linda's Boat Painting you can rest assured you've come to the right place. All of our full repaints are shot blasted back to clean steel before we begin our 10 coat system of 3 epoxy primers 3 polyurethane undercoats and 4 topcoats using Epifanes 2 pack paint applied to the manufacturers specified film thickness. You can have any K7 RAL colour you choose.
We work with you to get the paint job you want. We are the boat painters for you. As soon as your boat arrives we will make arrangements for it to be pulled out of the water and put into our heated polytunnel. Then we will begin taking fixings (windows, vents, etc) off. After boarding up all windows and masking up any holes your boat will be shot blasted then tested to make sure the blasting profile is as the paint manufacture specifies.
We will then: * remove all boards from windows and grind back to bare steel any areas the shot blaster was unable to reach * prime your boat from the gunwales up with the first coat of epoxy * apply the first coat of Jotun 90 to the hull (excluding the base plate unless otherwise stated).
