Abbey Dcor was founded in 1980 by myself Mark G Cassidy having served my apprenticeship within another Lancashire based specialist painting and decorating company.
I learned my skills working alongside Master Painters and Decorators and studying at Blackburn College gaining my City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Painting and Decorating and later my Licentiateship City and Guilds in Construction.
I was the British Decorating Association apprentice of the year in 1981 and have since gained many an accolade for my skills but this isn't something I like to shout about as I like to let my work speak for itself.
