Henderson & Paterson were originally established in 1932 by James Henderson and James Paterson who focused mainly on the painting of domestic properties throughout Edinburgh. The business expanded into other markets such as banks, offices and hotels whilst still serving the private housing market within the city, predominately within the South of Edinburgh.
In 2008, the company became a division of George Nicolson, a well-respected decorating company based in Leith, Edinburgh who have been established for over 45 years. This allowed Henderson & Paterson to focus on the residential and private house markets, as well as shops and small offices whilst still holding the same values and standards since it began over 85 years ago.
Over the years we have established relationships with many clients throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians including Merchiston, Morningside, Marchmont and Blackford as well as Leith, Trinity, Portobello and Musselburgh. In addition to providing you with an impressive painting and decorating service, we can fulfil any project by delivering specialist finishes such as faux finishing, marbling, graining, sign writing and professionally applied digital images, silk or broad vinyl wall coverings.
